Wow. Just, Wow.

So this morning, Kira, who yesterday was literally SURROUNDED by shoes, for whom I purchased a plethora of new shoes, who actually POINTED AT a pair of sneakers like the ones I got her last summer before school ("hey! I have those!"), announces that she has no sneakers that fit.

No. Sneakers. That. Fit.

I looked at her, dumbfounded, and replied that yesterday IN THE SHOE DEPARTMENT would have been a really good time to tell me that. mk

Gaaarrrrggghh!!! Oh noooooooooo!!!

My husband (who is amazingly... um... "childlike" sometimes) has a knack for doing this with items from the grocery store.

"Baaaybeee?" "Yeah?" "Can you get some sooooooda from the store?" I look down at my arms, loaded with grocery bags, kick closed the front door. "Sigh."

Ali,
Husband has no excuse. There are cell phones and he can go to the store his own damn self. ;)

MiKael,
It does, doesn't it?

Min,
Perhaps I should rethink your kind offer to send me the pool boy.

Ro,
Oh yeah, hilarious!

Hi MK (& 'cynical nymph' & 'min')

You ladies are tough...! That's why I (usually) try to stay quiet.
All that man-bashing.....and yet, I still can't stop reading your blog.
Does that make me a sucker for punishment?

C'mon now, girls.....are you going to tell me that none of you have ever
used a line similar to cynical nymph's?: "Honey, can you run back to the
store and get me some (insert feminine hygiene product name here)...??!!
"And make sure you use this coupon!" And you just know, mk, that the
cashier is going to do a price check.

Again I ask you...whaddya think?

Paul .....the lurker.
ps - Markira, I had all kinds of technical difficulties last night, trying to get this entry posted. Something about html tags....?
